Terms of Service

By enrolling in service with The Poo Crew, you ("Client") agree to the following terms and conditions:

1. Access & Safety

Client is responsible for providing safe and unobstructed access to the service area on scheduled service days. Gates must be unlocked, and pets must be secured if aggressive or territorial.

  • If we are unable to service the yard due to access issues or unsafe conditions caused by the Client (including locked gates, blocked yards, or unsecured aggressive pets), the visit may be skipped.
  • As a courtesy, The Poo Crew provides a one-time complimentary skip for the first occurrence.
  • Repeated access issues may result in the visit being charged as a completed service, as time and routing have already been allocated.
  • We reserve the right to refuse service if conditions are deemed unsafe.

2. Pets & Yard Conditions

Client agrees to promptly notify The Poo Crew of any changes to the number of pets using the yard.

  • Service rates are based on the number of pets and service frequency.
  • Failure to disclose additional pets may result in adjusted pricing.

3. Inclement Weather

Inclement weather (including rain, snow, ice, or extreme conditions) may make service hazardous or impractical.

  • In such cases, service will be performed as soon as reasonably possible once conditions improve.
  • Missed visits due to weather are not eligible for refunds or credits.

4. Service Pauses & Rescheduling

If pets will not be using the yard for a period of time (vacation, illness, etc.), Client may request a service pause in advance to avoid unnecessary visits.

  • Retroactive credits will not be issued.
  • Service resumes automatically unless otherwise requested.

As a small, family-run business, The Poo Crew occasionally travels or takes time off as a family. When this happens, we'll reach out in advance to reschedule any affected visits — your service won't simply be skipped without notice.

5. No Guarantee on Missed Waste

While The Poo Crew makes every reasonable effort to remove pet waste, 100% removal cannot be guaranteed.

  • Waste may be missed due to tall grass, leaves, snow cover, poor visibility, debris, uneven terrain, or natural ground conditions.
  • Missed waste does not constitute grounds for refunds or credits.

6. Not a Landscaping Service

The Poo Crew provides pet waste removal only and is not a landscaping or yard maintenance service.

  • We do not mow, trim, rake, weed, move yard items, remove debris, or alter yard conditions.
  • Yard conditions such as tall grass, heavy leaves, snow cover, or clutter may affect service effectiveness.
  • Conditions that prevent safe or reasonable cleanup may result in skipped or rescheduled service.

7. Waste Disposal & Placement

Unless otherwise instructed in advance, bagged pet waste will be placed in a location determined by The Poo Crew.

  • Clients may request a preferred disposal location (trash bin, specific area, etc.) prior to service.
  • Requests must be communicated before the scheduled service day.
  • The Poo Crew is not responsible for waste once it has been properly bagged and placed.

8. Family Business & Helper Disclaimer

The Poo Crew is a family-operated business. From time to time, supervised family members, including minors, may assist with service operations.

  • All helpers operate under direct supervision and follow safety guidelines.
  • Client agrees that the presence of family helpers does not alter service terms or liability.

9. Liability

The Poo Crew assumes no liability for damage to lawns, landscaping, gates, fences, pets, or other property.

  • Normal wear to grass or turf may occur during routine service.
  • Client assumes all risks associated with pets and yard conditions.

10. Billing & Payments

Invoices are due according to the agreed billing schedule.

  • Unpaid balances must be paid within 15 days of invoice date.
  • Service may be suspended or terminated for non-payment.

11. Pricing & Promotions

Fees, service rates, and promotions are subject to change.

  • Clients will be notified at least two (2) weeks in advance of any pricing changes.
  • Promotional pricing may be temporary and is not guaranteed long-term.

12. Termination

Either party may terminate service at any time with written notice.

  • Outstanding balances remain due upon termination.
  • No refunds will be issued for completed services.

13. Agreement

By initiating or continuing service, Client acknowledges and agrees to these Terms of Service in full.
